Name: Beauty and a beat
Artist: Justin Bieber (ft. Nicki Minaj)
Album: Believe
- The song has a few different sections in which we could utilise a lot of different camera shots and post-production techniques. For example there is singing which could be presented by lip synching.
- Then the electro drop allows the chance to have party scenes and a variety of post-production techniques such as reversal, slow motion etc.
- Could have shots of a boy singing in iconic locations such as London.
Name: Song 2
Artist: Blur (Remix by Prezioso ft. Marvin)
Album: ‘Single’
- This song is a remix of a classic Blur song which was hugely popular itself. The remix has turned it into a dance song and given it a contemporary feel.
- From this you can mix retro music video techniques with new and modern techniques. From the song I get a sense of summer and beach parties.
- I get an image of an ugly man/boy with a lot of pretty women in bikini's surrounding him yet he is relaxed and looks cool amongst them.
Artist: Kendrick Lamar
Song: Faith featuring BJ the Chicago Kid & Punch
Album: Kendrick Lamar EP

- A lot of shots of deprived areas, with close-ups of the artist lip synching in these areas.
- Include shots of little children in these areas looking upset, however at the end they then show them smiling as the song is all about having faith.
- Tracking shots of iconic scenes of deprived neighbourhoods in the USA (i.e. a run down basketball courts with no netsin the hoops, but with lots of kids playing on it having fun).
